Thanks for stopping by McKinley Music Therapy, online home to Music Therapist, Breianne McKinley Zaug.

Breianne founded McKinley Music Therapy upon completing her Master’s Certificate in Music Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2010. She received her B.A.I.S. in Arts & Music Therapy through an interdisciplinary advanced honors degree program from George Mason University. While exploring music therapy opportunities, Breianne discovered Music Together though Little Steps Music, LLC. She fell in love with the research-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum and completed the Music Together Teaching Training, developed by the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, NJ, in the spring of 2007.  Breianne is a current member of the American Music Therapy Association, a talented vocalist and guitarist, a popular children’s entertainer, and is a proficient baby and toddler whisperer.
Breianne’s love of music was instilled in her own infancy, with nightly hallway concerts performed by her father and his guitar. Although multiple song requests and encores postponed her slumber, she personally experienced the invaluable importance of early musical exposure and parent participation.
Breianne continues to be inspired daily by her students, clients and parents, and looks forward to making music with you, whether in a class setting, therapy session or birthday party.
